BUNKER CROP CLASSIC

Friday July 12th, 2024

In the fall of 2011, the world lost a tremendous young leader who served as an inspiration for all who knew him.

Thomas Jeschke had many experiences spanning the globe and could have chosen any life or occupation that he desired. What he chose was to return to this community to make a life for himself, be involved in the agriculture industry that he appreciated, and to improve the community of his roots. Down-to-earth, but with a unique vision backed by a tremendous work ethic, Thomas was always looking for a way to improve himself and those around him. The Thomas Jeschke Agriculture Education Opportunity Fund was created with the objective to enhance the opportunities for the students of Seneca High School, while also benefiting and strengthening our community.

Following his passing, Thomas’ family and friends established a fund that would continue the legacy of someone who, if he could, would work to eliminate financial barriers for students who wanted to experience agricultural education opportunities. The Thomas Jeschke Agricultural Opportunity Fund was created with the objective to enhance the opportunities for the students of Seneca High School, while also benefitting and strengthening our community. The goal is to allow students of Seneca High School to discover, through experiential learning, their opportunities in the agriculture industry.

This fund is kept by the Seneca FFA Alumni Foundation - EIN: 26-4061270. The Foundation is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization.
